Airsoft bomb props
built to be defused
An airsoft bomb prop, or a paintball bomb prop, is the objective a whole game can be built around. Ours are handmade flight cases with a keypad, a live countdown and up to fourteen ways to play.
A bomb prop, or prop bomb, is a box of electronics that behaves like a bomb without being one. It arms on a code, counts down where everybody can see it, and stops when the other team gets their own code in. There is no charge and nothing to detonate.
What separates a good one from a toy is what happens in between. Ours know how they are being carried, refuse a code entered at the wrong moment, take a life when they are tipped over, and the next one will tell you afterwards who armed it and who defused it.
Arm it, defuse it, or carry it
Arm it
A 3x4 keypad, a code per team, and a countdown on a display you can read in daylight. Enter it wrong and the case buzzes at you and puts ACCESS DENIED on the screen.
Defuse it
The defenders have a code of their own, a USB token or two key switches, depending on the mode. Some games give three attempts. Some take a minute off the clock for every miss.
Or carry it
An accelerometer means the case knows how it is being handled. Escort games make a team move it without tipping it, and every jolt costs one of its lives.
The bomb props we build
Nuke Case Mk III
The flagship. Keypad, live countdown, accelerometer and six game modes in a rugged flight case. Closed to new orders while its successor is built.
View product →Nuke Case Mk IV
The same case rebuilt around a new controller: player tags and scoring, indoor positioning, and fourteen game modes. In development.
View product →Payload Mk I
A bomb small enough to run with, so a game covers a building rather than one room. In development.

What is the difference between an airsoft bomb prop and a paintball bomb prop?
Nothing in the electronics. Both are the same defusable bomb prop: armed with a code, running a visible countdown, defused with a second code before the clock reaches zero, with a speaker and lights inside and nothing else. What changes is the site. A paintball bomb prop has to shrug off direct hits and be wiped down afterwards, so the screen sits behind polycarbonate and the case closes on a seal.
Is a prop bomb safe to own and carry?
Ours hold electronics, a speaker and lights. There is no pyrotechnic and nothing that behaves like a charge. It is still a prop that reads as a bomb, so keep it in its case in public, out of sight in transport, and tell the site you are bringing one.
How many game modes does a bomb prop need?
One is enough to play, but sites get bored. The Nuke Case Mk III ships with six, from CodeBuster to Search and Destroy, and the Mk IV is being built with fourteen.
What does a bomb prop cost?
Every case is built to order, so the price depends on the tier and on how much of it is made for your site. Tell us how you play and we come back with a spec and a quote, usually within a couple of working days.
